Makungu’s work is deeply grounded in community engagement, where she extends mental health support to vulnerable and marginalised groups. Through therapy, open conversations, and outreach initiatives, she creates safe spaces for healing and empowerment. She actively visits churches and community platforms, organising programmes that support women, children, and persons with disabilities—ensuring that mental health care reaches those who need it most.
